Amazing Red Dot Quiz (7) - Where can you share a toilet with the opposite sex?

Toilet

This is scandalous. Few days ago, I found a toilet that is actually .... unisex! I am not joking. Look at the photo. This is not your typical dirty kopitiam cubicle; I am talking about a first-class lavatory with showering and "business" facilities.

Toilet
Welcome to the unisex toilet!

Toilet
Showering Facilities

I was a bit apprehensive on seeing the unisex label at the toilet entrance. Usually we see a unisex label on the cubicle of a public lavatory, with the wash basins outside easily accessible to people not using the lavatory facilities (like my dirty kopitiam example). Should I go in? This seems to good to be true, a full-fledged toilet that is actually unisex. I am actually given permission by the law to enter the traditional sanctuary of women. The pondering took only a few seconds. Curiosity got the better of me - if lucky, I might just bump into a lady coming out of the shower room, wrapped in only a towel.

Stop dreaming! Not a single soul was inside that day. This and the fact the toilet was spotlessly clean and didn't stink suggest to me the toilet is very much under-utilized. Probably not very well known too, a perfect setting for a quiz.

There is only one question I have for you:
  1. Where can you find this toilet in Singapore?

Just too good to be true, so I wonder whether I was seeing things. Also not used to sharing toilet with opposite sex.

Hmm any thoughts on where this might be?

What we know:
Icemoon's not loaded (I think), so should not be somewhere too exclusive (e.g. country club)

It's somewhere sufficiently well-maintained

It's probably somewhere less popular, judging by his statement that it seems "under-utilized"

So far, I'd think that it's not a hotel (AFAIK they don't have unisex, nor shower facilities in publicly accessible toilets). Industrial estate buildings might have showers, but probably not unisex, nor "under-utilized".

Soap/shampoo dispenser seems like something available at sports facilities of some kind, perhaps a condominium of some kind, or maybe a small gym. But it must not be a big place if they provide unisex facilities rather than separate male/female.

Is it one of the boutique hotels, my guess is Scarlet Hotel?

jlow .. I've never been to Scarlet Hotel :)

Looks interesting. I might go and have a look, haha.

In SGH I've seen unisex toilets.

The biggest clue is that the answer is famous.

So if you are guessing hotel, Hilton or Mandarin will be better answers. If hospital, SGH will be good answer.

Another guess, is it Raffles Hotel?

Icemoon said...

no, not Raffles Hotel. How does the toilet in Raffles Hotel look like? Maybe can be another blog post, haha

SGH?

I can't seem to find the answer on the blog, is the answer out yet?

Too high class to be SGH guys. I think the color also don't look SGH, more like private hospital?

This is a place where you can rest and relax, so not hospital definitely.

Raffles Hospital?

Icemoon said...

Not hospital kroneker. It is a place you won't say 'touch wood' :P

I think I won't release the answer until somebody gets it correct. Hmm ..

huh? a funeral parlour?

Icemoon said...

hint: It is somewhere you get to relax.

last guess... spa?

Icemoon said...

I'm sure most, if not all, have been to this building. Just not this part of the building.

Very clear hint already. If you guess spa, must say the building.
